Pr. Gio Marin was born and raised in New York City, and is happily married to Catherine Marin since August of 2001. He received his B.A. in theology with two minors, one in biblical languages and the other in practical theology, from Southern Adventist University. He recently completed his master of divinity degree at Andrews Seventh-Day Adventist Theological Seminary, with a dual emphasis on systematic theology and church growth & evangelism.
