London rabbi to give talk on Islam

A London Rabbi is to give a talk on Islam as part of a major festival. The talk, entitled "The Secret Light", will discuss the Islamic influence on Jewish spirituality.

Rabbi Mark Solomon will give the talk as part of the International Festival of Middle Eastern Spirituality and Peace. He is a minister at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue in St John's Wood, London, and also foster-rabbi of Edinburgh's liberal Jewish community, the Scotsman newspaper reported Friday.

The talk takes place at the Edinburgh Hebrew Congregation's Marian Oppenheim Hall on Feb. 11.
