Biography:
Rebecca teaches international ethics, religion, and conflict for the Georgetown Public Policy Institute. Rebecca’s current research explores the ethical constraints on counterinsurgency, specifically how the hybrid socio-politico-military nature of counterinsurgency and other complex stability operations influences soldiers’ moral responsibility in combat. Her most recent publication, “Jus Post Bellum and Counterinsurgency” will appear in the September 2008 edition of The Journal of Military Ethics.
